Where drinking water is provided by bottle or tanker, in the absence of a piped supply, the provider is deemed to take on the same statutory responsibilities for water quality, as a water utility.

For example, this would include: an employer providing bottled water for staff on a construction site, an event organiser providing water at a festival or sporting event or a charity giving away water at a fund-raising event. Water quality in such circumstances is controlled by the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000, as amended.  The water provider must be able to demonstrate that reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the water supplied is potable and suitable for human consumption.

Our H2GO branded drinking water is available in both 330ml and 500ml bottles which is procured from sources which are audited annually to ensure compliance with the Water Supply regulations, over and above the bottled water regulations.  Stocks of bottled water are quality monitored on a monthly basis to ensure quality remains compliant throughout the year.
